Pastor's Message
Pastor Fred Kopp, our Pastor for the past eleven years, has recently retired. We give thanks for his faithful leadership and commitment to the people and ministries of our congregation.
We now welcome Pastor Adam Arends. Pastor Adam serves as the Transition Pastor for Augustana, Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Tonawanda and Trinity Old Lutheran Church in Amherst. He is also the Pastor of St. Timothy Lutheran Church on Grand Island.

Hello to all who visit Augustana's website.
I'm Pastor Adam Arends, and I'm excited to join Augustana Lutheran as we work on the next faithful step with Trinity Old Lutheran (TOL) and Good Shepherd Lutheran churches. I have been the Transition Pastor working with Good Shepherd for the last few years, and I have a three-quarter time call with St. Timothy Lutheran Church on Grand Island.
My role with TOL, Augustana and Good Shepherd is as Transition Pastor, which means that I will help the three congregations through a transition period towards what is next.
As a bit of a background, I have been in ordained ministry for 7 years. My wife Kristen and I have two children, both high schoolers. Kristen has been ordained as a Lutheran pastor for one year, and serves at St. Paul Lutheran in Eggertsville. In my free time, I love watching movies, playing trading card games, disc golf, and singing with the Buffalo Philharmonic Chorus.
Everyone is invited to be part of Augustana's worship and ministry. Sunday worship begins at 9:30 am.
We celebrate communion every week, and the service always includes a youth message.
I look forward to getting to know the people of Augustana and all those who visit, as we partner to continue the amazing ministry you do.
